Mural Gallery

I have been lucky enough to have worked with 4 schools. Facilitating workshops make art to turn into Murals which I then painted with the help of the pupils who designed the original work

Refectory Mural

TRINITY CHURCH OF ENGLAND SECONDARY SCHOOL

Accademic Year 2023-2024

I am very excited about this project. Art Workshops by Hannah is working with Trinity Secondary school in Lewisham to paint a mural in their refectory.

The Trinity colour is purple so in conjunction with the fabulous head of Art Saara Karppinen we have devised a colour scheme to compliment this luscious hue.

We will be celebrating the cultural demograogic of the school by representing as many countries as we can through fruit and vegetables from across the world.

The project started with a workshop where pupils generated ideas which I then developed into a design.

A wide selection of pupils from different year groups helped paint the mural, some Art GCSE Students, some Art Scholar students, some staff amd siome students that just really wanted to help out for wellbeing and enjoyment.

See the slideshows here, The Pupils during the workshop, the ideas generated and the Mural taking shape.

Black Thrive Playground Mural

TRINITY CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL

Accademic Year 2023-2024

In collaboration with Black Thrive and Trinity Primary school in Hither Green I created a mural focusing on mental health and wellbeing. This was oraginsed by Amanda Harvey their amazing head teacher and Year 5 teachers I Apsey and J Gordon.

The Mural is taking native plants from the year 5's cultural heritage and using the colours from the school house system. A beautiful colour palatte of Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.

I was lucky enough to accompany the pupils on a trip to look a local lewisham murals before leading a full day Art Workshop where the pupils created the images that I would later turn into the Mural.

Here you can see the pupils in action during the workshop, some of their finished designs and how I have turned those designs into the final mural.

School Council Playground Mural

MORDEN MOUNT PRIMARY SCHOOL

Accademic Year 2023-2024

Art Workshops by Hannah had the great pleasure of working with the school pupil council on a mural for their playground. Every pupil in the school created a design and the school council created a short list. From this short list I put a Mural proposal forward and asked pupils for even more designs.

Pupils are focusing on their local Area, their School and the School Moto PROUD which stands for, Perseverance, Respect, Opportunity, Undertanding and Democracy.

Here you can see some of the pupils designs and some of my rough ideas coming together. The area is huge, 56 meters square. I have divided the design into meter square sections so we can highlight as many pupils ideas as possible.

Because the mural is such a huge area it has taken lots of dedicated pupils hours of work, first priming the wall with white paint and then blocking in the ground colours. Its so lovely when you can start to see the design starting to take shape.

See the finished mural here in the video and in the slideshows of images.
